A cool breeze, soft clouds, and the first light brushing over the horizon—quiet and steady.
The waves weren’t bold, but they were present. Just enough to stretch into the morning.
Later, we crossed paths briefly.
She handed me the bento with a small laugh, “It might be a little cold now.”
We don’t live together, but mornings like this feel shared in their own quiet way.

夜明け前、車を走らせて、いつもの海へ。
空はすこしだけ眠そうで、それでも雲の奥に朝日がじんわりと灯り始めていました。
ゆるやかな波が、静かに「おはよう」と言ってくれるような朝。
サーフィンのあと、ほんの短い時間だけ会えました。
「冷めちゃったかもね」と笑いながら手渡してくれたお弁当。
暮らしは別々でも、こうしてふと交わる一瞬に、少し心がほどける気がします。
