June 6, 2025 – Today’s Bento
This morning’s walk was full of excitement and planning.
We’re going to visit a rose garden this weekend 🌹✨, so we were happily sorting out the details.
But today is a slightly lonely Friday.
She’s working a part-time shift today, so no morning bento handoff.
Luckily, I received today’s bento in advance yesterday—smart move! 😉
Now, here’s today’s slightly amusing lunch combo:
🥪 The Sandwich Trio
- Ham, cheese, and tomato
- Egg salad with lettuce
- Chicken tender, cucumber, and cheese
🍲 Surprise! Motsuni (Japanese pork offal stew)
Leftovers from last night’s dinner somehow made their way into today’s bento box… with sandwiches.
When I opened it at work, I had to do a double take.
Sandwiches and motsuni—now that’s an unexpected pair! 🤭
🎣 Today’s Fishing Report
Fishing this morning was on fire!
Caught a big one, and couldn’t be happier (photo proof included 📸).
This weekend it’s roses over fish—looking forward to a different kind of catch.
Can’t wait to see what next week’s bento brings!

今朝の散歩はちょっとそわそわモード。
週末に行く予定のバラ園の話で盛り上がりながら、あーでもないこーでもないと予定を詰めてきました🌹✨
しかし、今日はちょっぴりさみしい金曜日。彼女はバイトで不在。お弁当は朝の散歩の時にもらえなかったので、昨日のうちにしっかり預かっておきました。ふふ。
さて今日のお弁当はこちら！
🍞 サンドイッチ三兄弟
- ハムとチーズとトマト
- たまごサラダとレタス
- ささみときゅうりとチーズ
🍲 なぜかモツ煮（！？）
昨日の晩ごはんの残り…だそうです（笑）
サンドイッチとモツ煮という斬新すぎる組み合わせ。職場で開けた瞬間、二度見したのは内緒🤫
🎣 今朝の釣果報告
釣りは絶好調！ドーンと大物がかかってニンマリ。

週末はバラ園でのんびり癒されて、釣りはまた次回。楽しみが尽きません。
